A performance in collaboration with Master Shuho and Keiichiro Shibuya
There’s a space of nowhere. It is not the past, present, nor future.
On the top floor of Espace Louis Vuitton at twilight, Keiichiro Shibuya, a musician is sitting at the terrace with his instrument. He plays the songs from his past. In the middle of the space, Shuho, an Ikebana master is quietly arranging the flowers. The two persons’ reflections are repeated on the mirror wall. Strange lights from shooting set are behind both of them.
With his fingers strumming on the keyboard, Keiichiro Shibuya is celebrating the past melodies while Shuho is focusing on the present, with the flowers at her fingertips.
Through collaboration, the different approaches to time, via action and stillness, will be explored.
The invisible film keeps going on. With different actors, sets and scenes.
